For the 11th anniversary of Aaliyah‘s passing in 2001,
L.A. producer, Shlohmo
paid tribute by giving his signature remix treatment to “Enough Said,”
the recent first leak from the upcoming controversial posthumous album,
featuring the soft boy wonder himself, Drake,
& releasing it for free via his SoundCloud page late last night.
Below you can stream & download the Chopped & Shloh’ed remix
+ hear the original Aaliyah & Drake version for context,
in case you hadn’t already heard it already.
Also, included below is a another white label remix Shlo did of Drake,
this time for his song, “Crew Love,” featuring The Weeknd
who later ended officially releasing Shlohmo’s version
as a free single because they liked it so much.
And why wouldn’t they?
Remix by Shlohmo
