Bling47 FRESHclusive:
Jazmine Sullivan & Waajeed
“Jumpoff” (feat. Coultrain)

Coming back at you strong this week with an exclusive, unreleased track by Jazmine Sullivan – “Jumpoff,” produced by Waajeed. The song features Jazmine backed by Waajeed and his PPP cohort, Coultrain, over an upbeat Jeed beat featuring his typically choice drums & funky horn stabs.

This song was just one out of a small handful of tracks that Waajeed had produced for Jazmine’s debut album, Fearless, which was released on J Records in September of last year. After not making the album’s final cut, “Jumpoff” was first debuted by Waajeed himself on his most recent mix for the Bling47 Radio podcast and has since been heard being played out by Benji B & requested by countless others. So you know we had to give the people what you want.

After downloading the track below, leave a comment and let us know what you think of it and if you think it should’ve made it onto Jazmine’s album or not. We hear she’s in the studio working on her follow-up, so keep your fingers crossed for another Jeed & Jazmine collabo coming soon….

STAY TUNED: Waajeed – Series One 12″ dropping soon on Jazzy Sport

I think I may have told you this before, but I think this would have been a great vehicle for Pepa to drop a verse (or even Salt getting on it with her), since the track feels a lot like their hit “Tramp”.

    The industry sucks. 4

Yeah this should have made it. Maybe when Jazmine get more control of her ship, she’ll add it to a project & hit Wajeed up for more production. He soooo skilled at adding a fiery dimension to a project. 11

Serious tune. Big fan of her debut “Fearless” however i do feel that more tracks like “Jump Off” would have really made the album even doper!! 14

Track is absolutely bananas – what sort of world do we live in where THIS isn’t released on an album? 22

This is great. I don’t understand why Waajeed doesn’t get more mainstream love (what happened to the Britney Spears collab, for example?). Best producer in the game, in my opinion, & his sound is tailor made for mainstream R&B, if he wants it to be. 23

Oh Man. I quite like the album and bought it for my girl – I had no idea she was down with PPP. – This is serious. She needs to do an all Waajeed album. 24
