For the latest installment in the Fresh Kept Secrets series, I present to for your consideration, another figure I seeing doing big things in the near future: Suzi Analogue. Suzi is a Philadelphia-based singer, writer & producer who is making moves worldwide, through not only being signed to the Amsterdam-based label, Dopeness Galore, but also a future release on Japan’s Jazzy Sport. Along with her own solo releases, she also has upcoming collaborations with artists such as Georgia Anne Muldrow, Dudley Perkins, Frank Nitty (of Frank N Dank), Ras_G, Onra, Noni Limar, Melodee, Sterile Action Figures, Ragen Fykes, Knowledge, Devon, Swingkid, Portformat, and Cerebal Vortex.

As an introduction to Suzi, or a furthering for those already up on game, we have World. Excerpts 1-9 – a sampler of sorts of some of Ms. Analogue’s upcoming projects. Included in the album line-ups are her vocal projects, Lights On, The S Files and her instrumental project (under the name Suzilla), BEDBOOM. And while most of the tracks included in the sampler are self-produced, Suzi also gets some help from some similarly forward-thinking beatmakers, Knxwl3dg3, Mindesign, and Devon (who we’ll be hearing more from very soon – just a heads up).

For more on the Excerpts, Suzi left these words from her press release with her initial transmission: “Like a true sound scientist, Suzi Analogue has compiled nine recent excerpts created during her experiences in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Tokyo respectively. The project blends style, arrangement, and a passion to love the world around her with a clear honesty and without boundaries. Unafraid to mix grime with softer sounds, the intent of Excerpts is to open a window into her world to come.”
