After some last minute delays,
Nashville producer, Treekeeper
(or TR€€K€€P€R if you’re down w/ the unicode illuminati -
which we sometimes very much are)
drops his latest Bandcamp release,
Tropical Summrr Get Right 4 The Summrr Mixtape EP -
which we belieeeeve miiiight be intended for the summer(?).
All jokes aside though, we’ve really been looking fwd
to this EP ever since we first spotted
the pixelatingly wavvy video
for the lead track, “◊ TR€€K€€P€R TRÒP!ÇÁL€ ◊”
on the Keep On Repeat blog
a few weeks ago -
& the project’s other four tracks
surely didn’t disappoint.
As brief as the whole occasion is
(isn’t summer always too short?),
each of the five tracks still bring something unique to the table -
whether its the slurred & melodic “Bottlz”
(our own personal favorite of the batch)
or the tropical trap* of “LOFT LIFE” -
each song really could stand on its own as a strong single.
You can stream Tropical Summrr
before downloading/supporting the project below
+ catching the “Tropicale” video after the jump.
(*Editor’s note: we’re just kidding, pleeeease don’t let that term catch on & turn out to be an actual thing that exists.)
